To ease ER traffic of patients seeking treatment for dental pain, Waldo County General Hospital, in Belfast, Maine opened a dental clinic in early July. No one is turned away for inability to pay but most patients pay $10 to $20 fee. Five area dentists provide comprehensive dental care to patients referred by the hospital's clinic.
